Welcome to Seehäusl (Little Lake House)

Our “Little Lake House” (Seehäusl) is celebrating an important anniversary: 100 years!

For the last three generations, in addition to our exceptional service, the quality and variety of our food has been a source of great pride to the inn keepers of the Seehäusl.
Today, as we have done for generations, we use only the freshest ingredients from the adjacent organic farms and spring-fed mountain lakes for the dishes in our menu. Be it the butter on the breakfast table or the trout on the dinner table, there is the unequalled taste of pure nature.
On numerous occasions our guests have eagerly asked for our secret and exclusive house recipes. For the first time, we will share some of our secret recipes with our guests, like my mother’s legendary recipe for ‘Kletzenbrot’ (a tasty bread filled with dried pears or plums) or my grandmother’s recipe for ‘Apfelstrudel’ (apple strudel) to try.
If you feel tempted to undertake a culinary excursion in the mountains or a trip to the beautiful Hohe Tauern’ national park and stay at Seehäusl, we want to welcome you and encourage you to taste one or two of our kitchen’s specialties.

We look forward to your visit!

Respectfully yours,

Christine Fercher and family
